Dear All,
below is the hostcount for September 2000.
The table shows a *decrease* since last month of over 380,000
(or 3.3%) to a total of around 11,250,000 hosts in the DNS in
Europe and surrounding areas.
The de domain shows the highest increase for September with
approximately 35,000 hosts more than in August.
The overall decrease was largely attributable to a loss of
around 320,000 hosts from the fr TLD.

- the January data had to be reused for uk due to problems with co.uk.

- the August data had to be reused for es due to problems at the local
collector this month
