The UK Forum of the Association of Chief Police Officers, Internet
Service Providers, and Government is presenting three one-day
seminars entitled:
"Policing the Internet"
Working together to
address issues and allay concerns
These are being held to identify, discuss and address issues relating to
policing of the Internet in the UK. In particular, we are developing a
partnership process to ensure that criminal investigations involving the
Internet are carried out quickly and efficiently with a minimum impact on
the business of the industry.
While the focus of the seminars is the situation in the UK, many of the
issues will apply equally to other European countries, and we hope that
you will find it interesting. In particular, one seminar is being held in
Edinburgh on September 22nd, the day before RIPE 31 opens and at the same
venue.
