RIPE 31 Meeting Announcement

We herewith open registration to the 31st RIPE meeting, which will be 
held at: the University of Edinburgh in Edinburgh, Scotland and is hosted 
by the London Internet Exchange (LINX). 

The RIPE meeting will take place on the following days:

Wednesday 23rd, Thursday 24th and Friday 25th September 1998.

However, several other meetings shall be taking place in the 
days prior to the meeting, incl.: 

o an EOF tutorial on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning
o a RPSL course on Tuesday afternoon 
o a Newcomers orientation talk on Tuesday afternoon

The registration fee of 100 ECU includes refreshments and
lunch but doesn't include the RIPE dinner. The admission charge
including the RIPE dinner event is 150 ECU.

Pre-payment facilities will close on September 11th. 

Registration forms will be accepted after this date, however in that case 
payment will not be processed and has to take place on site. 

Please note that there appears to be a shortage of available hotels 
in Edinburgh in September. We would like to advise you to start 
looking for accommodation as soon as possible.

For those of you who wish to attend the RIPE meeting and need a visa we 
would also like to advise you to begin these procedures as soon as possible. 
We will send invitations on request to those requiring them.
