Dear all,
Here is the hostcount for April 1996.
The table shows an increase since last month of more than 116,000
(or 4.7%) to a total of almost 2,600,000 hosts in the DNS in Europe.
FI shows the highest increase for April with more than 23,000 hosts
than in March. However, we must take into account that Finland showed
a decrease of 7233 hosts in March indicating a possible error due to
connectivity.
Last month we saw a decrease of 940 hosts in the IE zone due to a
collapse of one of the irish service providers. The figures have now
stabilized because new connections have been taken up with alternative
providers.
