RIPE-26 netnews-wg meeting

Dear all, 

I'd like to invite you to a netnews-wg meeting at the next RIPE
conference next week in Amsterdam. The exact dates are not yet fixed,
but working group meetings take place Monday afternoon and Tuesday
morning. Our last two meetings were in the first slot on Monday
afternoon and I think this would be a good default. I try to avoid
clashes with DNS- and Mbone-WG (if this one meets). Please tell me if
you have other restrictions!

A number of action points is still open and I feel responsible for a
good part of them. Nevertheless, it is important to meet again and 
push things forward. The forthcoming major topology changes of the
European Internet give us a unique opportunity to reorganize the Netnews
backbone and adapt it better to the underlying topology than
before. Of course it is possible only with a joint effort - i.e. with
your cooperation !

I have put together a list of topics for the meeting, its not yet a
full grown agenda, just a list of topics. Please give your comments,
ideas, additions etc. I'll prepare a draft agenda on Wednesday.

I'll be happy to see you in Amsterdam !
