The meetings has a really low active/present quota in my
experience. People show up, but they listen except for some notably
few. This is part of the reason that I lost interest in maintaining
the WG.

However, it did serve as a meeting point for those interested in but
lacking Mbone. It helped forming contacts. There where also a few
cases of people asking for help with particular feeds.

The momentum has not been very impressive as compared to other
WGs. Helping people to get started can and maybe should be done in a
different maner.

The only way for people to save the WG is really to get active and
fill it with meaningfull content. Surely is there experiences to
share, etc.

If no cooperation and activities starts to appear, I would support the
request for closure. Not that I particularly want it, but it would
just be a wast of time and effort to maintain an empty frame.

I aired this issue on the Berlin meeting, and if things haven't
changed there is really not much to do. Maybe people doesn't want to
cooperate or it is just that it is not of much particular interest.

Cheers,
Magnus Danielson
Former chair of WG.
