We've upgraded to 3.9beta3, and so far it hasn't core dumped any more. 
However on ch-ws where we've also installed 3.9beta3, the tunnels 
are quite unstable. mrouted does not die, but the tunnels go down and 
resume on their own after a while (a few minutes).                 
This ws is connected via a dedicated FE to our router and has 
7 active tunnels, all with rate-limit=2000 and thres=48. The other 
ends of the tunnels are:                     
4 mrouteds (de,at,it,cern/switch) 
3 ciscos   (NL,fr,cz)
