Even if these networks might not be able to deploy IPv6 today in the
way they are used to doing IPv4, they already can make a difference - by
making sure that all gear and software they buy is ready for IPv6.

Which will make the transition much easier later on...

(But your point is taken.  We're working on the generic PI framework,
and as soon as that is in place, 2006-01 will be adapted accordingly
and re-circulated)
