ARIN, APNIC and RIPE NCC all made IPv6 allocations to networks operating
from Africa from 2001:4200::/23. This was to minimise the fragmentation
of the authoritative registration data, when AfriNIC was started. I
think a couple of records need to be updated.

In 2002, we allocated 2001:970::/32 to a network operating out of
Tunisia. At that time, the RIPE NCC provided registration services in
African countries north of the equator. The registration for this
network was transferred to AfriNIC earlier this year, when AfriNIC
started operations.
Rather than ask network operators to update information in two
databases, we transferred the registration data to the AfriNIC Whois
Database. The record in the RIPE Whois Database reflects this change.

I hope this explains the situation.
