Randy, thanks for the heads up and link.

Bersilav et al,

In conclusion, it seems that my assumptions were correct and that it is not a real issue to reflect each others macros within each others macros. There may be some providers using proprietary tools that don't perform duplicate checks on as-macros and therefore would be adversely effected but the additional overhead and complexity of trying to manage separate as-macros for unique peering relationships does not scale and/or seem practical.
