net39 and rfc1797..

Folks,

As suggested before, we are planning to move info.ripe.net to
an address as defined by RFC1797. The aim is to find problems
implementing chopped A's *before* they hit us.

I kindly ask you to try to ping to exp39.ripe.net now.
If there are no major showstoppers, then info.ripe.net will
move over (for some time) to a new IP address in net 39.

Since the whois database resides on another machine, whois
services, as well as DNS services, will not change.
The 'information' services: ftp, telnet, gopher, www
_will_ be affected.
