Re: Second EOF meeting, ripe-list@localhost

It is my understanding from the previous EOF meeting at
Schiphol that the reason for the 15 July meeting is to
focus on technical issues. Specifically, to permit us react
to the "post-June 30 shock". I have seen nothing on the
agenda noting this directly (although it may be here indirectly,
it should at least be a bit more apparent).
I also understood that policy (non-technical) issues would not
be discussed until later this year, probably at a meeting around
September time. Most policy-oriented people will not be attending
this meeting, so any discussion would have to be informal at most.
The agenda seems to have quite a few policy issues, including
at least, the charter. Since this was to be a technical
meeting, I will not be there. Point #7, Ebone Charter, should
not be discussed until the next meeting, as was earlier agreed.
