It is extremely unlikely that this will provide any benefits, as I
don't see how it would be possible to make the largest subdomain of .eu
at least an order of magnitude smaller than .eu as a whole, without
defeating the purpose of having a Europe-wide TLD in the first place.

of all registered .uk domains are .co.uk domains.
