I should add to the previous message:

the BETA9 version is NOT available anymore from Pail Vixie's server;
however the files are still available in the same directory as
the notice I mentioned.
(I think the final version will be out so soon that it makes no sense
to update my "status of BIND versions" before that happens;  and I will
try to update quickly after it happens.)
