Wilfried,

I find using manuals on a computer is a lot handier in a web browser
than in a PDF reader. If you want to print it, then sure, PDF is great.

But having a page break in the middle of a paragraph because it happens
to not fit on an A4 is annoying when I am scrolling. Plus if I am on a
computer with a smallish screen, or want to look at the text at the same
time as something else, then HTML format is much nicer than PDF.

In theory having content broken down into smaller bits makes sense, but
I usually find that I go for the "one big HTML" version and just use
search to find what I'm looking for.
