The solution used was : 

Use the keyword UPDATE in the subject on the creation of a new person.
And I used the none-harassing 4 letter word : bais 

So the new handle is bais-ripe

If you do:

$ whois -v person

You can get the rules, which I'll reprint here:

    From 2 to 4 characters optionally followed by up to 5 digits
    optionally followed by a source specification.  Source
    specification starts with "-" followed by source name
    up to 9-character length.

This means 2 to 4 letters.  The source specification is optional, or
it may be:

RIPE      
ORG       # used at ARIN for organizations
ARIN      # used at ARIN for persons
RADB      # North American routing registry
APNIC     # used at APNIC for person and role objects
RIPN      # used by the Russian academic network

In the test database, you can also use TEST (as you have done).

We also allow any 2-character country code:

In your case, you used:

nic-hdl:        ebais-test

The problem is that this has 5 characters before the source
specification, and is therefore not allowed.  You can either truncate
this in some way:

nic-hdl:        eb-test
nic-hdl:        erik-test
nic-hdl:        bais-test

Or you can try using 31337 ("elite") letters:

nic-hdl:        ebai5-test
nic-hdl:        EBA15-TEST

Personally, I recommend using AUTO-1, and letting the server pick your
nic-hdl value, e.g. EB3-TEST or something like that.  The nic-hdl is
mostly useful as a unique identifier within the database.
