Well, it *is* correct. I.e. that you can send such a notification.
But you shouldn't make yourself illusions of a *positive* effect
of such a notification. On the contrary: by sending it, you are
supplying the spammer with a *valid* e-mail address of you, which
is exactly what spammers are after...
