What would you do if they ignored your flame?  You could block microsoft,
but that would do you no good, you wouldn't receive the things you did
receive.  No more buying@localhost  That would be an option, but again,
you're already a customer, so you would want to receive certain information.

I'll stick to my opinion the vendor should provide a mechanism to enable
differentiation between different types of information they would like to do
mailings for.

The commercial part I also forgot, thanks ;).  But it does not change my
statement I think.
