Re: [address-policy-wg] 2008-05 Revised/New Discussion Phase set (Anycasting Assignments for TLD's and Tier 0/1 ENUM)

  • From: Tomas Hlavacek <tomas.hlavacek@localhost

Greetings!

I support this proposal.

Usually I do not like making special cases and introducing any inequality. But I understand that gTLD, ccTLD and ENUM tier 0/1 deserves some kind of special treatment. And I think we would be against ourselves blocking TLD and ENUM tier 0/1 operators from making their service more resilient and secure.

Best regards,
Tomas Hlavacek

Dear Colleagues,

The text of the policy proposal 2008-05 has been revised based on the community feedback received on the mailing list and during RIPE 57.

We have published the new version (version 2) today.
As a result a new Discussion Phase is set for the proposal.

You can find the full proposal at:

We encourage you to review this policy proposal and send your comments
to address-policy-wg@localhost before 5 January 2009.

Regards,

Ana Matic
