that sounds reasonable.
We've had a similar experience when trying to report abuse. Although I
am subbed to this list from my personal address I am also one of the
abuse contacts for a RIPE LIR :)
A lack of response to an abuse report doesn't bother me, but bounces and
web redirects are incredibly frustrating, especially when the web form
is incomprehensible
