That day came when I was 17. Imagine that, they paid me to operate their network. Today I operate my own networks. If you think it is better to work with a major tier1 ISP like I did when I was 17, then you are of course free to do so. But please don't tell me my previous boss was a fool. He was actually a nice guy and he might just read this mailing list too.
If my background as a MEng software engineer offends your thoughts about how hard it must be to renumber devices, then I do apologise. My original posting stated that it is as easy as you want it to be. You don't seem to want it easy at all. That is fine and is what policies are all about.
Like I said, I support the PI proposal. If you don't, please say so and also why. Leave my previous boss out of it.
