Hiya Arnold,

This is well known in some circles. Posts to the list are manually approved by
the RIPE NCC to reduce spam, unless you send the message from an account which
is subscribed (to that individual list I believe).

That is why my messages have the sender djp-ripe-lists@localhost, because that
is the address under which I am subscribed and my messages appear almost
immediately :)
