Staffing update, and good news

Dear all,
it gives me great pleasure to announce that we
have chosen Sabrina Waschke to fill the newly
created position of Registration Services Operations
Manager.
As such, Sabrina will be responsible of the
day to day operations of Registrations Services,
overseeing the quality of service. A big part of
her tasks is to take care of the Registration
Services staff. Sabrina will report directly to
the Managing Director.
Sabrina has already started in her new position
effective of 1 June.
Also, as of 1 June, Nurani Nimpuno has become
the Internet Address Policy Manager. Her
responsiblities are primarily to maintain,
and develop RS related policies. Also a major
part of Nurani's tasks will be to closely monitor
the relevant mailing lists (notably lir-wg), and
to pro-actively contribute where and when appropriate.
Further, as a result of the discussions between
the RIRs over the last months, Nurani will be
responsible to co-ordinate policies with the
other RIRs; this will enable a globally more
consistent policy making process.
Nurani will continue to report to the Managing
Director.
I'm looking forward to working together closely
with Sabrina and Nurani.
