question: do you need to relay mail anyway? if not, reconfigure sendmail not
to relay mail anymore. we did include code to stop sendmail from relaying on
our own system, i am willing to forward you the code fragment... you should
compile it yourself though.
its the most effective way i know of. you can also achieve this by editing
sendmail.cf as far as i know, yet i am not an expert at the config file... i
am more the coder type of guy :)
