After some more discussion with the InterNIC it looks like we cannot
avoid giving *everyone* in the RIPE database a handle soon. Otherwise
the database exchange with the InterNIC would be too difficult.

So contrary to what I said last week we will need to do that soon.

I will send out a draft RIPE document later today.

Please comment a.s.a.p. so that we can act quickly.
