Daniel,

When I brief the InterNIC Registration Services I alway reference
delegated registries. The RIPE NCC is the example that I give of
one that is correctly operated. Somehow when writing this RFC I
got caught-up in the operation of our facility and unintentionally
failed to say anything about the RIPE NCC. I feel you are correct
about the potential for mis-directed request. I will work with you
either to add to RFC1400 or document the delegation of services to
the RIPE NCC. I plan to be at the IETF most of the week.
