Hi there, Can you please help me with the following questions on IPv6? I tried to contact David, but my e-mail was bounced. You'll find this e-mail below. Thanks in advance, Anneke Laverman ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Anneke Laverman <amlaverman at gmail.com> Date: Tue, Nov 11, 2008 at 1:22 PM Subject: questions regarding IPv6 To: kessens at nsn.com Hi David, I have been reading a lot about IPv6 on internet. Then i discovered the RIPE website. There's a lot more for me to read now. I am actually writing an article about IPv6 and i am trying to get a grip. I still have a lot of questions regarding the status of the transition and regarding the costs of implementing IPv6. Can you please help me on that part? Do you perhaps have a presentation that includes costs? I understand that the goal of RIPE regarding IPv6 is that by the end of this year an ipv6-only client is able to use all services offered by the RIPE NCC. I read this in the presentation of Mr Andrei Robachevsky. How large is this transition and what does it cost RIPE? How did Korea and Japan manage to implement IPv6, as i read in computable? Can you please give me some information? Or can you give me the name of the person(s) i need for answering these questions? Thanks a lot!
