Niall O'Reilly and I are looking for input from you all for the agenda of the ENUM WG for this meeting: offers to give presentations, suggestions for presentations from others, and warnings of topics to avoid for lack of interest. As always, to begin with, here is a list of 'regular' topics we usually cover during an ENUM WG session: - Updates from countries with 'significant' developments - ENUM in production: operations, uptake, strategy Best regards - and we look forward to seeing many of you in lovely Ljubljana in hopefully warm mid April: Carsten Schiefner Co-Chair, RIPE ENUM Working Group From enumvoipsip.cs at schiefner.de Fri Mar 16 20:17:28 2012 From: enumvoipsip.cs at schiefner.de (Carsten Schiefner) Date: Fri, 16 Mar 2012 20:17:28 +0100 Subject: [enum-wg] 2nd call for RIPE 64 ENUM WG agenda Message-ID: <4F6391C8.3050109@schiefner.de> Dear ENUM WG colleagues, we are just a little more than four weeks away from RIPE 64 (16-20 April in Ljubljana, http://ripe64.ripe.net/ ) now - and time continues to fly. This topic has since been raised several times on RIPE working group mailing lists. There has been very little community response, which may suggest that these attributes are not important to anyone. After discussion with the Working Group Chairs, it has been agreed to send out a final call for comments. If there is no negative response, the syntax change outlined below will be implemented. Please send any comments to the DNS-WG mailing list before Monday, 2 April 2012. The proposal is to deprecate these attributes from the DOMAIN object: mnt-lower sub-dom dom-net refer We propose the following timeline for deprecating these four attributes: - Final mailing list comments by 2 April 2012 If there are no objections posted to the mailing list: - Announcement of the change at RIPE 64 - Change syntax for RIPE Database updates shortly after RIPE 64 - Notify maintainers of objects that include these attributes when syntax is changed - Cleanup of data by changing any instances of these attributes into "remarks:" by RIPE 65 Regards, Denis Walker Business Analyst RIPE NCC Database Group From enumvoipsip.cs at schiefner.de Tue Mar 27 12:44:08 2012 From: enumvoipsip.cs at schiefner.de (Carsten Schiefner) Date: Tue, 27 Mar 2012 12:44:08 +0200 Subject: [enum-wg] RIPE 64 ENUM WG: Draft Agenda Message-ID: <4F7199F8.4040202@schiefner.de> Dear ENUM WG colleagues and RIPE NCC Meeting Team, I'd like to let you all see the first draft agenda for the ENUM WG session at RIPE 64.
