Message-ID: Hi all, I am trying to watch/listen to web/audio cast of the IGF Advisory Group. Since it is unusable now (and during the Rio IGF/past Geneva consultations, perhaps the RIPE NCC could (in lieu of cash donation), make an in-kind contribution to the IGF of loaned kit and knowhow, so they can have decent remote participation. IIUC, the IGF folks are actively soliciting contributions from various Internet coordination bodies at the moment. This is one way to enhance cooperation without shelling out hard cash. There would, of course be direct and indirect costs, but a definite PR upside. -- Cheers, McTim $ whois -h whois.afrinic.net mctim From roland at ripe.net Tue Feb 26 15:52:44 2008 From: roland at ripe.net (Roland Perry) Date: Tue, 26 Feb 2008 14:52:44 +0000 Subject: [ec-tf] Enhancing and continuing cooperation? Today is the open consultation. The AG meeting is the following two days. I am sat a few feet away from the two young persons doing the webcast, they have a camcorder and a couple of PCs, nothing like the setup that is seen at a RIPE meeting. This morning they seemed to be (abortively) experimenting with a chatline, and there is some sort of email-in facility (Adam Peake read out a question from Jeremy Malcolm). -- Roland From dogwallah at gmail.com Tue Feb 26 17:38:50 2008 From: dogwallah at gmail.com (McTim) Date: Tue, 26 Feb 2008 19:38:50 +0300 Subject: [ec-tf] Enhancing and continuing cooperation? Which is why I made my suggestion. Do you have any feedback on it?
