Dear Ruben, Say hi, we contacted before. With DNSMON becoming open source under GPL, as an existing paid subscriber of the service, what does it mean to us? What would be our expectation changed? We understand the value of DNSMON is those ubiquitous probes worldwide; given this what would be the point for one to set up his own? Thanks in advance! This is a pre-release, and some files are known to be missing because they cannot be relicensed under the GPL. We will amend this in a proper release in the near future. The RIPE NCC will not provide support for compiling the DNSMON source code or for making it work in your own environment. You can find the source code .tar file at the following URL: ftp://ftp.ripe.net/ripe/dnsmon/src/dnsmon-gpl-0.1.tbz2 ftp://ftp.ripe.net/ripe/dnsmon/src/dnsmon-gpl-0.1.tbz2.sig The archive has been pgp signed with my public key If you have any questions about this release, please contact us at <dnsmon at ripe.net>.
