Dear Colleagues,

Recently a proposal for a new, MD5 based "auth" scheme was circulated 
and discussed in this list.

Thank all of you who contributed to this discussion. The final version 
was prepared based on your comments and suggestions.

Please find attached the description of the new "auth" scheme. It is 
currently being implemented and we plan to make it available at the 
beginning of May.
