IMHO the MLM sends back a message in case the poster is not subscribed to
the list, something like "the message has been forwarded to a moderator".
Why don't you simply drop that point at all? Maybe include the address
of a moderator (*-owner).
Post is for subscribers only. Posts by non-subscribers are rejected.
If one wants to post s/he can subscribe.
Isn't all the hassle with checking all the emails overkill?

However ... if you want to put the spamfilter in for only that kind of
messages I'm all for it.
