Barry Shein posted a longish mail on the subject on the ASRG list recently
- in short he is seeing it as the cause of most of the incoming spam to the
world.std.com.

He goes on to argue that because it involves cracking other people's
computers it makes the spam delivery companies liable to criminal
prosecution.
