Regarding the list of names/addresses of the MEPs 'supporting
opt-out' I posted here yesterday, two people have noticed that two of
the names on that list in fact voted _against_ opt-out. So I asked
the guy who posted the list to SPAM-L where he got it from and he
said...
What I meant to say was the members of the comittee that
voted to have opt-out policy for spam. I got the list by
following a link from a news story to the home page of this
comittee and typing in the names and email addresses by hand.
So, although the list had Michael Cashman and Marco Cappato on it,
who we know voted for opt-out, the rest of that list should probably
be best ignored as they're probably the whole committee including
some who may have voted against.
