Biographical information:
Andrea Borgato, Diplomas in Computer Science in 1988, is LIR Manager
of I.NET S.p.A. a BT-Ignite Company.
Andrea Borgato joined Etnoteam S.p.A. as Software and Network Engineer
from 1989 to 1994 and he worked on Industrial Research Software projects
in European environment (ESPRIT Projects)
In 1994 he joned I.NET up to 1999 as Network and LIR Manager. He setted
up I.NET LIR.
Form 1999 up to may 2001 he worked as network services consultant and
setted up, in Italy, for some companies LIRs and Domain Names services
infrastuctures.
In june 2001 he joined, again, I.NET as Registration Services Operations
Manager and he followed and supported RIPE NCC activities.
Since RIPE 44 Meeting January 2003 I'am co-chair of Address Policy WG,
former Local Internet Registry WG.
Motivation for nomination:
After starting as RIPE/RIPE NCC member in 1995 and attending some Meetings,
I guess more cooperation and more support to RIPE NCC will be needed for
leading RIPE NCC to a more efficient infrastructure for serving comunity
and its members, so I'm very pleased to apply RNA Board nomination in order
to support and cooperate in real manner.
