RRC09 - TIX - Zürich
RRC09 is located at the Telehouse Zurich
Internet Exchange (TIX) in Switzerland. It has been operational since May,
2003, and is our tenth active Remote Route Collector.
The RRC is run in collaboration
with The Netlantis Project.
The Netlantis Project, formerly known as
http://zebra.swinog.ch and http://mogwai.frnog.org,
started as a simple RouteViewer project within the SwiNOG
(Swiss Network Operators Group)
community in late 2000. Netlantis provides a set of tools based on the BGP
routing table status in real-time, but does not keep historical data. In this regard,
Netlantis and the RIS are complementary projects.
Peering Policy
All TIX members are welcome to peer with RRC09 (AS12654). Peering with the
RRC implies providing the RIS project with routing information,
not exchanging traffic. Peering should take place via an interface
on the shared TIX medium, and not be configured as EBGP-multihop.
While the RRC itself does not announce any routes, peers are expected
to announce their full BGP table.
of current peers. All participating ASes will be listed on the
RIS web pages.
