IPv6 Deployment Panel at ICANN Meeting, Lisbon
An IPv6 deployment panel discussion was held at the ICANN meeting in
Lisbon on Sunday 25 March between 13:00 and 15:00 (UTC+1). The session
focused on IPv6 deployment in the root DNS and ISP environments as well
as the policy support needed for this.
The panel consisted of Gert Doering from SpaceNet AG, who discussed the
ISPs' view of IPv6 deployment, Joao Damas from Internet Systems
Consortium (ISC) who discussed IPv6 deployment in the DNS and Alex Le
Heux from the RIPE NCC who gave the Regional Internet Registry (RIR)
