RIPE NCC Roundtable Meeting February 2009 Announcement
Dear Sir/Madam,
The RIPE NCC, the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) for Europe, the
Middle East and parts of Central Asia, cordially invites you to attend
the Roundtable Meeting to be held on Monday, 16 February 2009, in
Amsterdam.
Roundtable Meetings are one-day events designed specifically to keep
Governments and Regulators informed about current issues surrounding the
governance and operation of the Internet. They also provide guidance as
to how you can participate in the development of policies related to
these issues.
Attendance is free of charge and all presentations and discussions take
place in English. Participants will discuss topical issues surrounding
Internet number resource management. The purpose of the meeting is to foster
dialogue between the public and private sector to ensure the future stability
of the Internet.
Speakers will include the RIPE NCC Managing Director, Axel Pawlik, and a
range of government representatives, regulators and industry partners
from Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia.
Registration for this meeting will open on 1 December 2008.
