Hostmaster Consultation Centre

The Hostmaster Consultation Centre is a service that will be offered by the RIPE NCC during the RIPE NCC Regional Meeting Moscow, 2004. It allows RIPE NCC Members (LIRs) to discuss issues relating to their business directly with RIPE NCC Hostmasters.

The service is not limited to LIRs, and anyone with a question on resources can visit us. We are also happy to discuss any issues involved with becoming a member of the RIPE NCC. The type of queries we expect to discuss include:

• Guidelines on setting up an LIR with the RIPE NCC
• RIPE community policies and RIPE NCC procedures
• Early Transfer Project (ERX) matters
• LIR Training Courses (what, where, when)

• The LIR Portal web interface for RIPE NCC members
• IPv4 allocations or assignment requests
• ASN requests
• IPv6 allocations or assignment requests
• Reverse delegation requests
