RIPE NCC Regional Meeting Manama 2009
The RIPE NCC Regional Meeting Manama 2009 took place alongside MENOG 4, in Manama, Bahrain, from 5-9 April 2009.
The Middle East Network Operators Group (MENOG) is a regional forum offering network engineers and other technical staff the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences and identify areas for regional cooperation.
There were 90 attendees from 17 different countries. The meeting agenda included presentations, tutorials, and workshops to discuss implementation issues that require community cooperation.
Regional meetings enable the RIPE NCC to get direct feedback from its members. The meetings also provide a forum for local governments, key players in the local and global Internet industry and RIPE NCC staff to discuss Internet issues relevant to a specific region.
