The Routing Information Service started as a project in 1999 and has
gradually grown over the years. Our main goal is collecting BGP routing
information over a function of time, subsequently, providing data to the
community regarding the historical development of the Internet and
allowing NOC's to debug routing issues in the past without being bound
to perspective of their own AS.
