The format of RPSL is *similar* to RIPE-181, but not identical.  In many
cases, the output is identical.  This is not necessarily true for all
objects, and for some objects they are very different.  We will be
publishing a list of differences soon, to clarify this issue.  (I don't
mean to be unhelpful by not detailing them here, but there are quite a
few, and I'd rather not give the impression that anything I write here is
a complete list.)

In the meantime, may I suggest you look at the output of:

    fwhois AS8387@localhost

And compare it with:

    fwhois AS8387@localhost
