[regional-russia] 4-octet BGP AS numbers

Folks-

 To follow up on the 4-octet AS numbers question: the IETF IDR WG has been
 discussing the proposal documented in draft-ietf-idr-as4bytes-11.txt. The
 discussion is converging, and a WG Last Call has been started on this
 document. See the message attached below. It appears that the mechanism
 has recently been implemented by at least two vendors--Juniper and
 Redback.
