I’m here confirming that ICANN will
be keen to participate in this coming meeting and share with participants
topics pertaining to domain names and IP addressing.
On the other hand, I would like to update
the network operators in Egypt
about this new initiative and to encourage their techies to take part in there.

can point me to a URL, please let me know.

Hello everyone,
My name is Ahmed Maged, i work with a Networking gear vendor, before that with
an ISP, i am
glad something like this took place in the region finally and i will make sure
i attend the next one.
I was thinking of grouping network operators and vendors of the region to a nog,
that would be menanog, middle east and north africa NOG, to discuss operational
experiences and new technologies, nothing related to my position at the vendor,
just because i know how this region needs one because i was in that place one
day where i wish something like that were there.
I already have the domain www.menanog.org,
i want people to work with me on that, if you think this is not going to work,
please tell me your reasons and if it conflicts somehow with RIPE-NCC-Middle
East, tell me as well.
Your suggestions and opinions is highly welcomed.
