Why does the Direct Assignment User Account cost just as much as full membership of the RIPE NCC?

The pricing is set at the same level as a full membership in the Extra Small billing category. This was determined by the RIPE NCC members during the RIPE NCC General Meeting.
We publish details of our fees each year on our website in November.
