RIPE NCC Executive Board Elections

Election Process

The terms for the following RIPE NCC Executive Board members will expire at the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) in May 2011:

  • Fahad AlShirawi

  • Andreas Wittkemper

Voting for the appointment of two RIPE NCC Executive Board members will take place at the GM. The vacant seats are for two three-year terms.

In compliance with the RIPE NCC Articles of Association, the RIPE NCC is calling for nominations to the RIPE NCC Executive Board.

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, 13 April 2011.

Nominations

A nomination for the appointment of a member of the Executive Board requires the written support of at least five members. You must be a RIPE NCC member and a registered LIR contact to support a nomination. Nomination submissions should include the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Your organisation
  • Your LIR RegID
  • Name of the candidate you wish to support

Nominations must be submitted by email to <agm-nominations _at_ ripe _dot_ net> by Wednesday, 13 April 2011, following the guidelines outlined in article 9 of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association.

A shortlist of confirmed candidates will be available after Wednesday, 13 April 2011.

* If there are fewer than three nominations by 13 April, the RIPE NCC Executive Board will nominate sufficient candidates to ensure there is an election.
