Attendance and Voting Scenarios

I am attending the GM and I want to:

  • vote on resolutions
  • vote in the RIPE NCC Executive Board elections

Register to attend the GM. You need to include the Reg IDs of all the LIRs you are a contact person for if you wish to represent and vote for those LIRs at the GM. If you are physically attending the GM, you will vote using paper ballots as at previous GMs. Your voting slips will be provided to you on the day of the GM for the Executive Board elections. Electronic voting is available for those members not physically attending the GM. Voting on resolutions will take place by paper ballot. You cannot vote on resolutions with electronic voting.

Note: You can register to attend online until 21 April 2010 or you can register on site on the day of the GM

I am not attending the GM and I want to:

  • vote on resolutions
  • vote in the RIPE NCC Executive Board elections

If you are not attending the GM, you can nominate a proxy voter who can attend the GM on your behalf .This will allow you to vote on resolutions to be passed and in the RIPE NCC Executive Board elections,

Important: If you choose to be represented by a proxy voter at the GM, you will not be able to cast your vote electronically for the Executive Board elections, as your voting rights are transferred to the proxy voter.

Fill in the proxy voting form, and send it by fax to the RIPE NCC at +31205354445. This will allow another person of your choice to vote for your LIR in resolutions to be voted upon at the GM and in the RIPE NCC Executive Board elections. The RIPE NCC will email you to confirm your choice of proxy voter.

Note: The closing date for submitting proxy forms is 21 April 2010.
