Quick Tips for IP and AS Requests

Simple steps for requesting Internet resources from the RIPE NCC:

There are two ways of requesting Internet resources (address space and AS Numbers) from the RIPE NCC:

1. Use the LIR Portal to request resources
2. Email a request to the RIPE NCC

Both methods require RIPE NCC membership. In addition, the LIR Portal requires a user name and password.

Email an IPv4 (PA) request to the RIPE NCC:

1. Copy the "Provider Aggregatable (PA) Assignment Request Form" to your email editor.
2. Print out the "Supporting Notes for the Provider Aggregatable (PA) Assignment Request Form" and use it as a guide for filling out your" Provider Aggregatable (PA) Assignment Request Form".
3. Check through the tips (1 - 8) before submitting the request to hostmaster _at_ ripe _dot_ net
