How does the RIPE NCC charging scheme work?

The charges for LIRs are fixed annual charges to be paid in advance and based on the size category of a LIR. A minimum size category will be determined based on address space allocations held by the registry. New local registries are charged a sign-up fee and 25% of the yearly fee for each quarter that they are members. Their initial minimum size category will be EXTRA SMALL.

The RIPE NCC sends invoices on a yearly, half-yearly or quarterly basis. Members may choose the most suitable billing scheme. A current version of the "RIPE NCC Activities, Expenditures, and Charging Scheme" is located in the RIPE Document Store.
