Service Fees

The RIPE NCC is a not-for-profit membership organisation. Members are charged a yearly fee based on the services used. The annual service fee charged to each member is related to the workload involved in providing the services requested by that member.

Sign-up Fee

In addition to the yearly service fees, all new members pay a one-time sign up fee of € 2,000. You will be charged for this on your first invoice.

Billing Categories

There are five billing categories. All new members spend their first year in the extra small billing category. After the first year, the billing category may change depending on the amount of RIPE NCC services used.

The fees associated with becoming a member vary depending on the time of year your application is processed:

Additionally, a € 50 fee will be charged for each independent Internet Number Resources assigned to the registry. Independent resources include Autonomous System (AS) numbers, Provider Independent IPv4 and IPv6 address assignments, anycasting assignments and IXP IPv6 address assignments.

First allocations of IPv6 adress space will not be charged. Score is calculated on the Provider Aggregatable Internet number resources made to the member over time taking into account IPv4 and IPv6 allocations. Independent IPv4 and Independent IPv6 assignments made on the same day to the same customer will have one single charge of € 50.

Direct Assignment Users need to pay an annual fee of € 1,300 with a sign-up fee of € 2,000.
